ADELAIDE will hold back 1000 tickets — all standing room — for the public to Showdown XXXVII on Sunday, June 29.

These tickets will be available to the public from 9am Wednesday at Ticketek agencies.

The Crows, the hosts of the second derby at Adelaide Oval, on Tuesday released as many as 2500 tickets to Port Adelaide members. These can be bought by Power members until 6pm Tuesday.

The rush on Showdown tickets is expected to have the game sold-out as soon as noon on Wednesday. The Oval's capacity is 53,500 with 3500 standing room positions.

Adelaide also is closing in on its target of 60,000 members. The Crows on Monday removed the membership counter from its website to declare an exciting announcement was imminent.

Port Adelaide's membership target of 50,000 has been shattered with 54,120 members now listed at Alberton.
