PORT Adelaide will be at full strength for Saturday's Adelaide Oval blockbuster against Fremantle, with key men Hamish Hartlett and Alipate Carlile cleared to play.
Dynamic midfielder Hartlett and strong full back Carlile — a contender to get the job on Dockers' skipper Matthew Pavlich — were late withdrawals from last Saturday's 35-point win against GWS through illness.
But both have been back at the club doing light training today and full forward Jay Schulz said they would be ready to resume for the top four-shaping clash.
Schulz — who kicked six goals against the Giants to lead the race for the Coleman Medal — also is over the sickness which almost forced his late withdrawal.
They were the only three players to be struck down by illness on the morning of the match and Schulz said all three would be fighting fit this week for what he described as the ultimate pressure test for his high-flying 6-1 team.
"It's a massive challenge for us," Schulz said.
"Playing Freo last year was the hardest game we played and we learnt the biggest lessons about how they go about it with their pressure.
"Everyone wants to be as good a pressure side and defensive side as they are, so it is a massive challenge for us and it will be on for young and old."
Port's embarrassment of riches at the selection table spells bad news for at least two players.
Paul Stewart and debutant Ben Newton came into the side late against the Giants and responded with 22 and 15 disposal games respectively.
However neither is guaranteed a game against the Dockers.
Schulz said there would be some unlucky players at selection this week and hailed the club 's new-found depth.
"I'm glad I'm not on selection," he said.
"I don't envy them but it is a good spot for our club to be in, to have such good depth.
"It puts pressure on everyone and makes training super-competitive, which is the way every club wants it."
